During 2025, my last year living in NRW, I tried to document the Karneval festival on Zülpicher Straße, even though I had never been a big fan of it. The festival ended up changing my mind and I grew to love it, and it even became one of the things I miss most about NRW. These pictures were the first ones I took using a flash.
